Oddments or mind fuzz I think are pretty accessible

Newer stuff is a lot more prog infused, older stuff is more chaotic garage rock and dream balloon is the slow more folky stuff iirc

i saw them in 2016 open for Thee Oh Sees and they were overwhelmingly ignored and sounded like shit.

I like their records but the sudden following is strange

so those two psych fest shows were some of the best live music I've ever seen but saw them recently in Berlin and the crowd was a soft dead fish so not a great show even though the music was great. If you get a lively crowd they can be incredible.

They have a crazy facebook fan page, they are a great live band with Jason Galea doing visuals , tons of variety of vinyl for collector's to go nuts over.

When I helped do visuals for them , the crowd was going so insane they moved a division gate into my projection stand and almost broke my glass plates if I was there between two booths I going back n forth to.

Personally I like everything up to Nangon Infinity.

The rate at which this band releases music just makes me think that their music has no staying power/meaning. I guess that's ok, music doesn't have to have a real deep meaning, but I think I could get more in to them if I didn't imagine they are just churning out psych rock as fast as they can to keep touring.

Though the more I think about it, they might as well. This ride won't last forever so step on the gas baby!

To be fair they were already putting out two to three albums a year before the whole five albums in one year . There's seven members so if everyone is contributing it could be easy to produce so much material plus just to fly then over to the States to tour is super expensive probably like 20k if it is to help fund their touring.
