rent for the day/week? road bike or a commuter?

for a commuter, your best bet is to buy your own.

for a road rental, rapha on prince rents canyon ultimate cfs and aeroads by the day. i think $75/day but $25/day if you join their cycling club.

I was interested in the CBD but apparently a tincture is like $200 and I'm sure the lattes and the ice cream at van leeuwan has the most minute drop

I got CBD coffee at vittles in Greenpoint once. They just buy the beans from somewhere, I assume all the cafes that do CBD coffee get them from the same place? It ended up being a very low amount of cbd per cup, so basically just overpriced. but if you're very sensitive to CBD effects its not bad.

They sell bluebird botanical brand CBD oil, a reputable brand afaict, at nature's cove (formerly Chopin Chemists) also in Greenpoint, they claimed to be the only store on the east coast that sells that brand. The price is roughly the same as the bluebird botanical website, which is still kinda $$ anyway. I still use it some times... I think it works?

It’s a liability thing I assumed. Like if someone is sick in the train they can’t just take them off and leave them on the platform alone and have to wait for emts or police or whatever to get there and take the person off and care for them before the train leaves. I think on average one person a week dies and the sick passenger thing happens more frequently than that.

when one person gets sick during morning rush hour on the L society practically breaks down.

it leads to more crowded cars and in turn more likelihood of commuters fainting / getting sick / sure, dying, why not

Yes, this is pretty much it. Andy Byford is trying to change the standard procedure for this, by the way - at least to get "sick passengers" off the trains more quickly.

"Police investigation" covers someone on the tracks/struck by a train, by the way.
