I don't want to post pics of my nasty ol' chest but I got a rash. Been there ~ten years too. I don't think it's really harmful but it's aesthetically bad. What do I do about it? I asked a dermatologist once. Gave me some cream. Didn't work. How do i fix this

might be fungal. i hosted some fungus from SEA for like a year before finally going to the store and picking up some over the counter anti-fungal cream. after a couple months battle back and forth the little fella finally gave up.

if it's tinea versicolor, rub nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo all over the affected area for a week or two as often as you can

I almost made this thread. Since Saturday I have had an egregious rash running up my sides. Weirdly not on my belly. I went to the doctor yesterday and they gave me Zyrtec and Clobetasol cream. The rash is super itchy and not 100 but may be related to my boyfriend spilling poppers on me.

This is not good for Pride.
And I feel like this year is really about, just the year of realizing stuff.

thanks! and norm, I am sorry you are allergic to your own hair. that seems painful and paradoxical.

DO NOT take Itraconazole if they recommend to you. There's a rare possibility of developing Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Like use it every day in the shower and in a week or so you should start to see results but you have to keep using it.

In the summer, my tinea versicolor gets worse - I think sweat and hot/humid conditions make it worse (guess it makes sense since that is ideal conditions for fungus to grow)

i had tinea versicolor and a dermatologist gave me soap and some other bullshit that didn't work and it would come back every summer for years. then i read you can just use athletes foot spray on it so i tried that and it went away in a week
