he put a single up for $500 last year https://sireu.bandcamp.com/track/snot-cool-prod-djjt

it's a really good song.

he also performed for 25 hours straight to commemorate his 25th birthday. https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/this-dc-rapper-just-performed-a-25-hour-concert-near-the-finish-things-got-surreal/2018/02/16/794cb48c-1298-11e8-9570-29c9830535e5_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.cd8cc0a484e8

^ i can appreciate that. and we probably should be paying more for some digital music sometimes anyway. like you only get to pirate it if someone has paid the initial 500 bones. the problem is that it is very difficult to accurate gauge the price elasticity of demand and therefore the price point that maximizes revenueToggle Spoiler

enjoying the bandcamp previews of the new one

It ends June 1st! BY MY DECREE!

I'm considering, if there's any interest, doing a 'Best Album of the Summer' list covering June 8-Sept 1 before we get to the end of the year Best ofs?

As it stands, there's a really unexpected (by me, anyway) #2 album and it only take 3 decent placements in lists to crack a top 15-20

Get em in.

(unless there's a true consensus to wait several more weeks and include June records, which last brought up, no one seemed that concerned about)
